“In the garage of my mom i started carving the foam almost ten years ago. the diy spirit, and the passion for climbing is the driving force behind it all. Also, shaping climbing holds is a creative thing, and as a musician and graphic designer, this is something i simply enjoy doing!
As a climber I never really got passed the pro hobby level, participating only in the amateur contests, but nevertheless - as an active part of the climbing community since 2005 - i feel i have the know-how to do what i do. as a routesetter, and as the eager observer, i have seen many young girls and boys rise to prominence on a wide range of holds.
My philosophy as a shaper is to stay clear of the feeting trends, and rather make holds that are simple, inviting and comfortable. i know the routesetters are creative and will make do, and they also prefer holds that are easy to work with, so that - as well being a prince to the climbers - is paramount in my work.
As s small scale entrepreneur, with a realistic approach to running a diy bussiness, i am aopen to suggestions, and i love to get feedback on my stuff.
I am always looking to improve! Proud to be part of it all, and i wish you all a happy climb!
